Basketball Recap: Oregon-Davis Takes a Loss

Oregon-Davis lost against Bremen back in January of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Oregon-Davis Bobcats took a blow against the Bremen Lions, falling 84-45. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 237th, while the Lions are ranked 75th).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bremen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kila Foster, who went 12 for 19 en route to 28 points and three blocks. Those three blocks gave Foster a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Kincaid, who went 11 of 21 on her way to 24 points in addition to eight boards and six assists.

Oregon-Davis has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Bremen, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Oregon-Davis has already played their next matchup (against New Prairie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bremen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 41-36 victory against LaVille on the 23rd.
