Softball Game Preview: Pottsgrove Falcons vs. Upper Merion Area Vikings

The Pottsgrove Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Upper Merion Area Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Spring-Ford hit Pottsgrove with a five-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons came up short against the Rams, falling 10-0. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Upper Merion Area came out on top against Upper Perkiomen on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Vikings took their game against the Indians 8-4.

Pottsgrove's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Upper Merion Area, their record is now 3-5.

Pottsgrove might still be hurting after the 10-2 defeat they got from Upper Merion Area when the teams last played back in March. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
