Flag Football Game Preview: Boulder Creek Jaguars vs. Mesquite Wildcats

Two dominant signal callers in Sophia Coffman and Alexa Montoya are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Boulder Creek Jaguars will challenge the Mesquite Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Boulder Creek 4, Mesquite 1.8) so any points scored will be well earned.

Boulder Creek is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Pinnacle, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Boulder Creek was ranked 17th). The Jaguars fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 10-7 on Wednesday. The contest marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mesquite put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Tempe 56-0. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 24 points or more this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Boulder Creek fell to 5-1. As for Mesquite, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
