Football Recap: LaBrae Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Champion last Friday, LaBrae came back down to earth. The Vikings lost 35-14 to the Brookfield Warriors on Friday. Vikings fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Warriors since Friday.

Although LaBrae took the loss, they still got scores from Dillon Bate and Easton Armstrong.

Rico Smith went supernova For Brookfield., rushing for 99 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries. What's more, Smith posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

LaBrae's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Brookfield, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, LaBrae will square off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Leopards have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. As for Brookfield, they will challenge Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.71 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
