The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Wildcats. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mustangs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bowler/Gresham Community took on Northland Lutheran last Monday. The Panthers took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lizzy May made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Romi Kapelke was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
