Basketball Recap: Aberdeen Find Success

Aberdeen proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 29) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Shelton Highclimbers, sneaking past 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bobcats have posted since January 30, 2024.

Jhacob Quezada was his usual excellent self, going 9 of 20 on his way to 28 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Garcia, who posted eight points.

Aberdeen's record is now 3-5. As for Shelton, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Aberdeen Bobcats face off against the WF West Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shelton, they will challenge Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
