Softball Recap: Fairview Tigers vs. North East Grape Pickers
Fairview stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past the North East Grape Pickers 12-1. The win was nothing new for Fairview as they're now sitting on four straight.
Fairview let Taylor Ginkle and Taylor Polach loose on the outfield. Ginkle went 3-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and a stolen base, while Polach scored a run and stole four bases while going 3-for-4. Polach hasn't dropped below two stolen bases for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Anne Rinderle, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.
On North East's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cadence Jones, who went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for North East, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7.
