Preview: Greeneville Greene Devils vs. Fulton Falcons
After two games on the road, Greeneville is heading back home. They will take on The Fulton Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Greeneville is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fulton in Tennessee (Greeneville is ranked 26th, while Fulton is ranked 219th).
Last Friday, Greeneville was able to grind out a solid victory over Elizabethton, taking the game 23-13.
Meanwhile, Fulton took a serious blow against Gibbs on Friday, falling 59-30. Fulton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losing side was boosted by Albert Johnson, who rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns.
Greeneville's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-0-1. As for Fulton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
Everything came up roses for Greeneville against Fulton in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 as the squad secured a 45-6 victory. Will Greeneville repeat their success, or does Fulton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
