Baseball Game Preview: Summit SkyHawks vs. Grand Terrace Titans

For the second straight game, Summit will face off against Grand Terrace. The SkyHawks will challenge the Titans at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Summit will be looking to extend their current 17-game winning streak.

While Summit's victory against Grand Terrace wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The SkyHawks skirted past the Titans 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the SkyHawks have posted since March 28th.

For Grand Terrace's part, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vann Morris, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one double. Vasili Kazaltzes also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Summit pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games. As for Grand Terrace, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.
