Sotomayor was the 63-44 winner over Johnson when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Sotomayor WILDCATS fell just short of the Johnson Jaguars by a score of 56-54 on Saturday. The WILDCATS have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sotomayor lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jasiah Saunders, who posted 18 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Justin Mcbryde, who earned eight points in addition to nine rebounds and five assists.

Even though they lost, Sotomayor smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2023.
