Softball Recap: Northwood Chargers vs. Southeast Alamance Stallions
Northwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 15-5 to the Southeast Alamance Stallions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-2 back in February.
Northwood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Bain, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Northwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Southeast Alamance, they pushed their record up to 7-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
Coincidentally, Northwood and Southeast Alamance will both be playing Seaforth the next time they take the field. The Stallions will host the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chargers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
