Basketball Recap: Buckeye Local Comes Up Short

Buckeye Local was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 56-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indian Creek Redskins. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redskins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Buckeye Local's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Indian Creek, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-6.

Buckeye Local will finish 2024 at home by hosting Beaver Local at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Indian Creek will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Claymont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
