Baseball Recap: Laporte Comes Up Short

Laporte lost to Walker-Hackensack-Akeley last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell 10-5 to the Wolves. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Laporte's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Laporte does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-3 defeat against Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] on the 28th.
