Greenwood is 10-0 against Fort Stockton since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Greenwood Rangers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fort Stockton Panthers at 6:15 p.m. Greenwood will be strutting in after a victory while Fort Stockton will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Greenwood strolled past Pecos with points to spare, taking the game 60-42. Given the Rangers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 277th, while the Eagles are ranked 1076th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Fort Stockton was beaten by Andrews 61-32 on Tuesday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Greenwood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Fort Stockton, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.

Everything came up roses for Greenwood against Fort Stockton when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 47-14 win. Does Greenwood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fort Stockton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
