Softball Recap: River Valley Panthers vs. West Shamokin Wolves
River Valley managed to slip by West Shamokin the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 8-2 to the Wolves on Wednesday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 4-2.
River Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Callie Reaugh, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
River Valley's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 8-2. As for West Shamokin, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4.
