After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gulliver Prep, Ransom Everglades was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Jorge Gross was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Enrique MacIas, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

With the victory, Ransom Everglades broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-7. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Ransom Everglades will head out on the road to face off against Marathon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dolphins have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), they will face off against Gulliver Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
