Softball Game Preview: Todd County Central Rebels vs. Clarksville Christian Centurions

The Todd County Central Rebels will square off against the Clarksville Christian Centurions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Todd County Central knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Clarksville Christian likes a good challenge.

Todd County Central barely beat Hopkins County Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rebels put the hurt on the Storm with a sharp 12-1 victory on Tuesday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Addison Woodall made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Woodall was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Gracee Miller was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Dakotah Gammon was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Todd County Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .423 or higher in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Clarksville Christian's offense. They lost 15-0 to Nolensville two weeks ago. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Centurions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Todd County Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Clarksville Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
