Corry is 5-0 against Fairview since September of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Corry Beavers are taking a road trip to face off against the Fairview Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Corry will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, everything went Corry's way against Seneca as Corry made off with a 3-0 victory.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-7, 25-9.
Corry was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 0 aces per game earlier this season, but in their last five contests they've averaged 12.6.
Meanwhile, Fairview unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of North East.
The final score came out to 25-13, 13-25, 25-18, 25-22.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Madalyn Knight, who had 16 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.
Corry pushed their record up to 16-1-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Fairview, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6-1.
