Baseball Recap: Moshannon Valley Comes Up Short

Moshannon Valley was the 11-2 winner over Cambria Heights when they last played one another back in May of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Moshannon Valley came up short against Cambria Heights on Monday, falling 9-3. The Black Knights/Damsels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moshannon Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rocco Reifer, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Moshannon Valley now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Cambria Heights, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coming up, Moshannon Valley is taking a road trip to square off against Juniata Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cambria Heights, they will be playing at home against United at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
