Volleyball Recap: Annandale Comes Up Short

Annandale lost against Delano back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cardinals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Annandale started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-10.

Delano found their leader in sophomore Braylee Rue, who had ten digs and two aces.

Annandale's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Delano, their victory bumped their record up to 26-2.

Annandale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted on the 14th. As for Delano, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Jefferson on the 14th.
