Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Takes a Loss

Eisenhower lost to Aldine on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles lost 16-2 to the Mustangs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alex Arredondo was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Aldine, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eisenhower will take on rival Westfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Aldine is set to challenge their familiar foe Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
