Topsail has gone a perfect 10-0 against West Brunswick recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Pirates will face off against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Topsail is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

On Tuesday, Topsail came up short against Hoggard and fell 4-2. Topsail haven't had much luck with Hoggard recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Jax Lawrence wasn't going to let Hoggard walk away unscathed as he scored both of Topsail's goals, bringing his season total up to 15 goals.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for West Brunswick's offense. They lost 6-0 to Ashley on Thursday. While losing is never fun, West Brunswick can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 197th, while Ashley are ranked 20th).

West Brunswick now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Topsail, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-3.

Everything went Topsail's way against West Brunswick in their previous meeting back in September, as Topsail made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
