Basketball Recap: Dayton Comes Up Short

Dayton was the 51-49 winner over Willamina when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Dayton Pirates fell to the Willamina Bulldogs 50-46.

Dayton has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Willamina, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-11 record.

When Dayton and Willamina next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Dayton will take on Taft and their four-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th. Meanwhile, Willamina will try to stop Amity's 20-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
