Basketball Game Preview: St. Croix Prep Lions vs. Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs

St. Croix Prep will head into Thursday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They came up short against St. Croix Lutheran, falling 61-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered since December 3, 2024.

Meanwhile, Maranatha Christian Academy humbled Nova Classical Academy with a 76-21 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 22 points or more this season.

St. Croix Prep's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-7. As for Maranatha Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
