Crofton can bid farewell to their nine-match losing streak thanks to their match on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Niobrara/Verdigre Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Their offense was headlined by Addyson Ostermeyer and Jaisie Janssen, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Tylee Cooper and her nine assists. Emma Kuchta controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Crofton's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
