Volleyball Recap: Resurrection Christian Wins High-Profile Match Against Ralston Valley

Resurrection Christian faced Ralston Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on four straight.

Resurrection Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Blake Coors out in front who had 18 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Coors has posted since back in September. Brooklyn Diepersloot also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Resurrection Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Resurrection Christian's record is now 21-1. As for Ralston Valley, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 19-4 record.
