Recap: Axtell Longhorns vs. Bosqueville Bulldogs
The Axtell Longhorns had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They secured a 48-43 W over Bosqueville. That's another feather in the cap for Axtell, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Axtell got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Coldyn Horn out in front who scored 18 points. Cole Tindle was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Axtell's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Bosqueville, they have fallen quite a ways from their 24-11 record last season and are now at 4-8.
Axtell will be playing in front of their home fans against Abbott at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bosqueville, they will face off against Valor Preparatory Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
