Early gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took down the Bangs Dragons 35-18. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Early found their leader in sophomore Caden Wilson, who rushed for 84 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 236 yards and two TDs while completing 84.6% of his passes.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Early is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bangs, they will head out to take on Merkel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
