Basketball Recap: West Ridge Wolves vs. David Crockett Pioneers
After flying high against Tri-Cities Christian last Monday, West Ridge came back down to earth. The West Ridge Wolves took a 71-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the David Crockett Pioneers. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pioneers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
It was another big night for Brylee Tullock, who went 12 for 24 en route to 33 points for David Crockett. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Story, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
West Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for David Crockett, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Ridge will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tennessee at 6:30 p.m. on December 13th. As for David Crockett, they will square off against Science Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
