Selections are based on team success and individual excellence in addition to local and state accolades.
Kingston Allen of
Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay) is the 2025 MaxPreps Wisconsin High School Football Player of the Year. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound junior running back led the Tritons to a 13-1 record and Division 2 runner-up finish.
Allen broke the state's single-season rushing yards (3,436) and rushing touchdowns (57) records. He averaged 9.7 yards per carry and 264.3 yards per game.
In the first two rounds of the playoffs, Allen piled up an incredible 986 yards and 15 touchdowns in wins over Greenfield (477 yards, 8 TDs) and Slinger (509 yards, 7 TDs). In five postseason contests, he ran 172 times for 1,741 yards and 27 touchdowns.
Allen broke a championship game record with 43 carries before suffering an injury in the fourth quarter. He finished with 231 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-14 loss to West De Pere (De Pere).
Northwestern and Wisconsin headline five Division I offers Allen has landed.
Each state's MaxPreps Player of the Year will be considered for inclusion in the MaxPreps All-America Team.
