Basketball Recap: Preuss UCSD Finds Home Court Redemption Against Monarch

There's no place like home for Preuss UCSD, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Monarch Royals a 2-0 shutout on Thursday. The two-point effort marked the Tritons' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Preuss UCSD has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.33 points across that stretch. As for Monarch, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
