Newberry is a perfect 10-0 against Fairfield Central since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Griffins at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Newberry's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Fairfield Central has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

On Monday, Newberry got the win against Pelion by a conclusive 5-2. Newberry might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Emily Benitez and Frida Aguilar scored all five of Newberry's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Fairfield Central's offense. They lost 16-0 to Mid-Carolina on Monday.

Newberry has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five games. As for Fairfield Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.

Newberry took their win against Fairfield Central in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 11-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Griffins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
