Basketball Recap: Valley Union's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. David, Valley Union was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 38-25 victory over the Patagonia Lobos. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-19 back in December of 2024.

Lexi Boss continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 17 points. Another player making a difference was Kylee Gilbreth, who posted nine points.

Valley Union's win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-13. As for Patagonia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

Valley Union will take on Tombstone at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Tombstone is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.5 points per game this season. Patagonia has already played their next game, a 41-39 victory against San Manuel on the 31st.
