Soccer Recap: Gate City Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Gate City had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 5-3 to the Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association Stallions on Monday.

Looking ahead, Gate City will head out to challenge Asheboro Hybrid Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ambassador Christian School at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
