Softball Preview: Littlerock Lobos vs. Quartz Hill Royals
Littlerock is 0-10 against Quartz Hill since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Littlerock Lobos will be playing at home against the Quartz Hill Royals at 3:15 p.m.
Littlerock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They suffered a rough 11-3 loss at the hands of Lancaster.
Meanwhile, Quartz Hill entered their tilt with Vasquez with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 14-5 victory on Monday. Considering Quartz Hill has won nine games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Nina Sepulveda made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned run off two hits. Sepulveda was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-2 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Leanna Medina was incredible, going 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Kaylei Victoria, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Littlerock's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Quartz Hill, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
