Nick Berry leads St. Petersburg Catholic to victory over City of Life Christian Academy

The St. Petersburg Catholic Barons posted their closest win yet this season on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against City of Life Christian Academy and snuck past 63-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Nick Berry, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds. Tj Newton was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
St. Petersburg Catholic's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for City of Life Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Petersburg Catholic and Shorecrest Prep will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for City of Life Christian Academy, City of Life Christian Academy and Southland Christian will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Southland Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten games -- so hopefully City of Life Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
