Baseball Game Preview: Grantsville Cowboys vs. Ogden Tigers

For the second straight game, Grantsville will face off against Ogden. The Cowboys will be playing at home against the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grantsville is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Easton Webb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up six Ks. He has become a key player for Grantsville: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-7 otherwise.

At the plate, Krue Warren was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Payton Cummings was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Grantsville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-7. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ogden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-16.
