A Season-Best Effort from Nate Davis Leads Rockmart over North Cobb Christian
On Friday, Rockmart got the W thanks in part to Nate Davis playing the best football he has all season. Davis rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made eight total tackles (1.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Rockmart, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Davis and Rockmart will stay at home for another week and welcome Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Hulett Came Up Big in North Murray's 27-26 Win
North Murray found a leader in Hudson Hulett as the squad took down Ringgold on Friday. Hulett turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 122 yards on only ten passes.
On the year, Hulett has averaged 70.6 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 8.43 passing yards per game.

Tyler Douglas Delivers Best Performance of Season
Coahulla Creek was led to victory by Tyler Douglas, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Douglas rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.
Coahulla Creek moved to 1-6 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak. Douglas and Coahulla Creek will host Union County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Waelyn Baliles Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Waelyn Baliles produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Coahulla Creek to the win on Friday. Baliles rushed for 93 yards on only ten carries, and also threw for 67 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Baliles has thrown 4 touchdowns while averaging 86.4 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one passing touchdown.

Jayden Cruz Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Rounding off our Top Five is Jayden Cruz of Sonoraville. Cruz rushed for 127 yards, and also picked up 31 receiving yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (101) per game.
Sonoraville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. Cruz and Sonoraville will be playing in front of their home fans against Ringgold at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
