Basketball Game Preview: Barnsdall Panthers vs. Wesleyan Christian Mustangs

Barnsdall hasn't had much luck against Wesleyan Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Barnsdall Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wesleyan Christian Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row dating back to last season, Barnsdall turned things around against Prue on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 76-31 victory over the Rockets.

Meanwhile, Wesleyan Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by South Coffeyville to the tune of 67-35. Fans of the Mustangs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Wesleyan Christian pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Barnsdall, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Barnsdall took a serious blow against Wesleyan Christian when the teams last played last Monday, falling 76-35. Can Barnsdall avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
