Basketball Recap: Union Christian Academy Skates Past Abundant Life with Ease

It was a Battle of the Birds when Union Christian Academy faced off against Abundant Life on Tuesday. The Union Christian Academy Eagles claimed a resounding 54-25 victory over the Abundant Life Owls. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Abundant Life's loss came despite strong showings from Rosie Townsend and Kendalyn Smith. Townsend dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards, while Smith posted nine points. Townsend is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.

Union Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Abundant Life, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Union Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 35-20 win against McLain Science & Tech on the 23rd. As for Abundant Life, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 39-27 victory against Faulkner County HomeSchool on the 27th.
