Baseball Recap: Beekmantown Eagles vs. AuSable Valley Patriots
Beekmantown won the last time they faced AuSable Valley and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles walked away with a 6-1 win over the Patriots.

Patrick Hagadorn was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Bryson Recore was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Parker Broughton was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Beekmantown now has a winning record of 3-2. As for AuSable Valley, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
Looking ahead, Beekmantown will welcome Potsdam at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for AuSable Valley, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Saranac at 4:30 p.m. on May 2.
