Basketball Game Preview: Heartland Christian Saints vs. Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers

The Heartland Christian Saints will head out to face off against the Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.

Last Friday, Heartland Christian came up short against Tabernacle Christian and fell 42-33. The loss continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Crosspointe Christian Academy came tearing into Thursday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Continentals 56-16. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

Crosspointe Christian Academy pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.7 points per game. As for Heartland Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Heartland Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Crosspointe Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2022, winning 37-25.
