Josiah Saunders Delivers Electric Effort Vs North Atlanta

Starting off the list is Lambert's Josiah Saunders, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Saunders rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. He is becoming a predictor of Lambert's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Orris Made His Presence Known in West Forsyth's 37-14 Victory

Foster Orris was a major factor in West Forsyth's victory over Forsyth Central on Friday. Orris was dynamite, rushing for 108 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 60 receiving yards.

Forsyth Central's probably not too fond of Orris given he always seems to get the better of them. When Orris last faced the Bulldogs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 61 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Max Walraven Makes It Two for West Forsyth

Keeping Orris company is Max Walraven, a fellow West Forsyth player. He threw for 250 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.5 yards per attempt.

If the past is any indication, Walraven could be in store for another big game when he takes on South Forsyth on Friday. When Walraven last faced the War Eagles back in November of 2023, he threw for 194 yards and five touchdowns on only 17 passes.
