Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buena Vista). They took down the Sanderson Eagles 71-53 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Longhorns as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Buena Vista's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7. As for Sanderson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Buena Vista will square off against Rankin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sanderson, they are taking a road trip to challenge Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
