Volleyball Recap: St. Edward Falls Short of Westmont in the Playoffs + How To Watch

St. Edward and Westmont squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but St. Edward had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sentinels. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in September.

Daylah Belmonte was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and three assists.

St. Edward has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-25 record this season. As for Westmont, their win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 29-5.

St. Edward does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westmont, they will welcome Aurora Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
