After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bottineau, Dunseith was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 56-43 win over the Stanley Blue Jays. The contest marked the Dragons' most dominant victory of the season.

Dunseith's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-15. As for Stanley, they dropped their record down to 6-14 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Dunseith and Stanley could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Dakota Rankings. Dunseith will challenge Des Lacs-Burlington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday down 82 places (106 vs. 24). Dunseith has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 3. Meanwhile, Stanley (ranked 80th) will meet Bottineau (ranked 16th) at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
