The Madera South Stallions will square off against the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Madera South will be strutting in after a victory while Roosevelt will be coming in after a loss.

While Madera South's win against Fresno wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Stallions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 22-19 victory over the Warriors on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Stallions as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Justin Caballero had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 81 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 81 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt fell victim to McLane and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were beaten by the Highlanders 42-0. The loss was the Rough Riders' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Roosevelt fell to 6-1. As for Madera South, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-5.
