Baseball Game Preview: Grand Ledge Comets vs. Gull Lake Blue Devils

Grand Ledge is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Gull Lake is on an eight-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Comets will welcome the Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Saturday, Grand Ledge made easy work of Fenton and carried off a 12-3 victory.

Meanwhile, while Gull Lake put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Otsego. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Bulldogs. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Gull Lake's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Grand Ledge, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Everything went Grand Ledge's way against Gull Lake in their previous meeting back in June of 2019, as Grand Ledge made off with a 9-1 victory. Do the Comets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
