Basketball Recap: Central Catholic Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Central Catholic extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jordan Magana. The Central Catholic Raiders came out on top against the Manteca Buffaloes by a score of 52-41 on Wednesday thanks in part to Magana, who went 9 of 21 en route to 26 points. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Brendan Carter was another key player, putting up ten points and seven boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Central Catholic pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Manteca, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.

Central Catholic has already played their next match (against Patterson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Manteca will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain House at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mountain House is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season.
