Volleyball Recap: Cairo-Durham Takes a Loss

Cairo-Durham lost against Greenville back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Spartans.

Cairo-Durham was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-18.

Ava Zeun paced Cairo-Durham's offense, picking up six kills. Zeun got some help from Gianna Lendin and her ten assists. Addy Hall controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cairo-Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Greenville, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.

As of now, neither Cairo-Durham nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
